Our story

The story begins in 1976. It was then that Apostolos Vlachos left his home island, Lefkada, for Athens. He had one thing in his mind, transporting people in a new place and continuing a long family tradition. The new company name was Vlahos Tours

Apostolos started with providing transportation for employees in the Tanagra industrial area. Meanwhile on weekends he organized excursions for Athens residents and then moved to tourism transportation.

Indeed by the early 1990s Apostolos’ company, under its new name AV TOURS, had moved to exclusively transporting visitors to Greece.

Ever since AV TOURS has been at the forefront of tourist bus travel in Greece.
